Quad riders disrupt night's sleep
To the Editor:
My husband and I moved into town last June in the new housing section, right down from Martin's Landscaping. We love living in our new home and our neighbors are fantastic, but - and this is a big, annoying ‘but’ - there are some extremely uncaring quad riders who ride up and down the Iron Horse Trail, revving their loud mufflers, long after it is dark.
There are children here, people who have to get up and work, and some of us would actually like to get a good night’s sleep. Police have been notified on more than one occasion and nothing has ever been done about it. Who is to blame for the inconsideration of this younger generation? Is it the parents who let their children out at all hours, knowing that they are racing and making noise? Or should we blame the police who don't think that it is a big enough problem to stop it and by so doing , send a message to these rude people that it is alright to be self centered?
Wake up people, what goes around, comes around, and one day, a good night of rest will be much more appealing than what you are so carelessly doing now.

Agree! I also live on the North side of St.Paul and have 2 small children who really need their sleep at night time and its occasional woke my family and myself up.. I think their should be a strict bylaw of when a more appropriate time to use the trail.. People who are out there at 10pm revving their engine are just ignorant for the people who reside in that area... Stunting? shouldn't that be a fine.. I think so. Glad someone finally spoke up to the Iron Horse trail nonsense.. :)
