GRAND MANAN, N.B. - A funeral service will be held Wednesday for a paramedic killed in an air ambulance crash in New Brunswick.
Ambulance New Brunswick says paramedics from across the province are expected to attend the private service for William Mallock at the Grand Manan Community School.
Mallock, of Grand Manan, was killed Saturday along with Atlantic Charters airlines pilot and president Klaus Sonnenberg.
Another pilot and a nurse who were on board survived.
The Transportation Safety Board said Monday the crash occurred during the pilot's second attempt to land the twin-engine Piper PA-31 Navajo.
Ambulance New Brunswick says it has received condolences from paramedic services from across the country since the crash.
"The support we're receiving from our counterparts in other parts of Canada is strong and it is appreciated," interim president Paul Ward said in a statement.
