Put your awful offal where it belongs

To the successful goose hunters,

I would like to thank the individual or individuals that dumped approximately 55+ goose and 12+ duck carcasses (after removing what meat they wanted), at my hayfield gate Rg. Rd. 95 north of Perch Lake, around the early part of the last week of September.

Since it was attracting bears and was within several hundred yards of our house, I had to remove the rotting pile and deal with the mess. I don’t dump garbage in your back yard so why dump it in mine. Come on people use the brains God gave you.Tthink about how your actions may affect others. It’s not all about you!

It is not acceptable to just dump your hunting offal along just any roadway you think is convenient. If you had taken a few moments of your precious time, you would have found out that you could dispose of the offal properly at the Evergreen Regional Landfill south of Lafond. Do not put the offal into dumpsters.

If anyone is looking for more information on how to dispose of such waste, contact the Regional Landfill or the County office.
