The St. Paul Jr. B Canadiens made a statement on Wednesday night in the team's first game against the neighbouring Frog Lake T-Birds in the second round of NEAJBHL playoffs.

Over 500 people attended the game at the Clancy Richard Arena, and the Canadiens made a statement in the first period by scoring first, and not giving up on the lead throughout three periods of play.

The game would come to a close with a score of 6-2 in favour of the home team Canadiens.

St. Paul's goals came from a variety of players on the night, and some impressive passing, mixed with a fast-paced game, and some quick-thinking goalies, resulted in loud cheers on both sides.

The St. Paul Canadiens will host game two of the series on Friday night. The puck drops at 8 p.m.
