The St. Paul Jr. B Canadiens took to the ice twice over the Thanksgiving weekend, coming away with a win and a loss.

First, the home team hosted the Lac La Biche Clippers on Oct. 5 in a game that would see a number of players ejected from both sides throughout the game.

Both teams would wrack up the penalty minutes, with Lac La Biche getting a total 110 minutes on 20 infractions; and St. Paul getting 121 minutes on 24 infractions, according to the NEAJBHL website.

In the end, the Clippers would take the win by a score of 7-3.

The Canadiens would have better luck on the scoreboard on Sunday, as the team travelled to Vermilion to take on the Tigers. The final score would be 4-1 in favour of the Canadiens, with goals from Braydon Burak, Dyson Roy, Isaac Laroque-Wall, and Brendan Wozniak.

Goalie Hayden Lyons would take his first win with the Canadiens, in his first game played with the team.

The Canadiens will now host the Wainwright Bisons in St. Paul on Friday night. The Bisons have yet to lose a game this season; while the Canadiens sit in the middle of the pack with two wins and two loses.
