After a huge wave of support on social media during the 2017 Sunrise Records Local Artist Contest this fall, area musician Shane Larmand is set to release his new album, "You are my home," this week.
An album release party is set to take place on Thursday at the Lakeland Brewing Company, starting at 8:30 p.m. Larmand ended up finishing as the runner-up in the Sunrise Records contest, which has allowed his music to be distributed across western Canada.
"Next week, I start my tour, which will take me through large portions of Alberta and Saskatchewan. I will be playing at many Sunrise Records locations as well as some sweet other gigs along the way," says Larmand.
The St. Paul musician's work is described as a mix of rock, folk, roots and blues.
