Missing woman pulled from North Saskatchewan River

RCMP have confirmed a body pulled from the North Saskatchewan River near Duvernay on Oct. 3 was Lindsay Marie Jackson, 25, of Saddle Lake. While RCMP did not release the cause of death, they said it is being treated as suspicious.

While RCMP did not release the cause of death, they said it is being treated as suspicious. The Major Crimes Unit is continuing to investigate along with St. Paul RCMP and the Forensic Identification Section.

Jackson was last seen at a home in Saddle Lake on Sept. 22, 2018 and a missing persons report was filed, and widely shared on social media.
