A new page for the Journal

"New site, who dis?"

spjournal.com along with other Great West Media papers have undergone a face-lift as we have made the switch to WordPress. This column might seem like a shameless, free plug of our own website. It may seem like that, because it totally is.

I'm eventually going to spin this in a way to talk about change or something, but until that happens, dear reader, you're going to have to sift through heartless advertising. Like how some people were mentioning not too long ago about the town needing a site listing all local events in the area and have it constantly updated. We *nailed* it.

A much more user-friendly design allows you as a browser to easily jump from one article to the next, and share your favourite stories (which should be all of them, in my unbiased opinion).

So if one day you're surfing the inter web, and you're feeling out of touch with what's happening in the area and you can't find your print copy of the St. Paul Journal, this is the way to go. Trust me, it's true.

Of course, you can subscribe to the e-edition online as well, which gives you access to every single story we write, if you feel so inclined. (You should feel so inclined).

Okay I think I'm done. What's next? Oh yeah something about change to make this a little bit like a column, right. What's going on in the world for change?

I mean, the weather is warming up, that's pretty sweet. That's a change that's happening. I'm in a constant, unbarring inner tug-of-war on if I should keep rocking my winter tires or switch to summer tires. I fear for one more snow assault. Even though we're well into the pluses this week, things can change as they often do. So that's going on. What side of the fence are you sitting on? Have you made the switch already? Are you optimistic about where this whole weather thing is headed? Why haven't you answered any of these questions? What are you hiding from?

Let's see, what else is changing. Oh! Major League Baseball is finally back, and the Blue Jays are killing it. That's a pretty radical change from last year and where they were supposed to be this season. But of course, keeping with our theme of the week, that can change.

I think I covered my bases. What a great column, and an even better new website. And remember, if you have any loose change, pick up a copy of the Journal.
