RCMP seek public's help following St. Brides store break-ins

The St. Paul RCMP are looking to the public for assistance in relation to two break and enters at the St. Brides store. On July 24, at about 2 a.m., police responded to an alarm at the St. Brides store.

The St. Paul RCMP are looking to the public for assistance in relation to two break and enters at the St. Brides store.

On July 24, at about 2 a.m., police responded to an alarm at the St. Brides store. Members attended and found the front door had been forcibly opened and damaged. An unconfirmed substance believed to be tear gas was sprayed inside the store, according to an RCMP Media release.

No one was inside at the time, and an undisclosed amount of property was taken.

Then, on July 26,at about 2:40 a.m., police again responded to an alarm at the St. Brides store. Members attended and found the front door pried open and damaged. An undisclosed amount of property was taken.

"At this time, it is unknown if the incidents are related," according to the media release.

RCMP are looking for anyone who may have information regarding these crimes or any other crime to contact the local detachment at 780-645-8870.
