Senior SPAA badminton players net medals

Senior High badminton athletes took to the courts on Wednesday during the St. Paul Athletics Association (SPAA) championship tournament. The action took place at Glen Avon School, Racette Junior High, and St. Paul Regional High School.

Senior High badminton athletes took to the courts on Wednesday during the St. Paul Athletics Association (SPAA) championship tournament.

The action took place at Glen Avon School, Racette Junior High, and St. Paul Regional High School. There were about 125 athletes competing from 12 different schools, this year. “The competition was great and the atmosphere was very competitive,” said coach Claude Cote.

On April 25, Lac la Biche will bring the top 48 athletes together to compete in the zone competition.

“Our team will be composed of students from St. Paul Regional (65 per cent), Two Hills (19 per cent), Glendon (six per cent), FG Miller (six per cent) and Mallaig (four per cent).
