St. Paul Fire was dispatched to a report of a structure fire at 8:44 a.m. on Oct. 7, in the area of 54th Ave and 55th Street, in the Town of St. Paul, according to St. Paul Fire Chief Trevor Kotowich.
"Upon arrival, crews found a mobile home trailer fully involved, with fire coming out of the back bedroom window," reads a press release. "The lone occupant who was at home at the time of the fire, was able to exit the structure safely."
A total of 21 firefighters attended the scene, and the fire was extinguished quite quickly when crews made entry into the home. There is substantial damage to the home, and an investigation is ongoing, according to Kotowich.
