To the Editor,

One of the duties of St. Paul employees is the collection of garbage on a weekly basis. Some tome employees have experienced injuries and have been assigned other positions with the town.

The task of this assignment is left to the other employees. What we need at this time is a program that all garbage be picked up by mechanical lifters that are attached to the garbage truck. Let’s implement a similar program that is already in place in many of our towns and cities in Alberta.

Also in this program would be a limit in the number of garbage bags per household. All members of the town council should be invited to see firsthand what the town employees are handling – loose condoms, smelly cat and dog litter, and in some cases there are many garbage bags that are untied, with garbage spread all over.

Decide which candidate is willing to support this new program and vote accordingly. Let’s make St. Paul a People Kind of Place.

A concerned taxpayer
